n Go past all Gastonia exits

n Go past McAdenville / Lowell exit

n Go past Belmont / Mt. Holly exits

n Highway will become a 4 lane after exit 271 (Mt. Holly)

n Cross Catawba River via Cameron Morris Bridge

n Take Sam Wilson Road, exit 29 (next exit past weigh station)
